Guatemala Specialty Coffee – A Tradition of Excellence
Guatemala is renowned for its diverse growing regions, producing some of the world’s most flavorful and nuanced coffees. We are proud to collaborate with exceptional local partners to bring you these unique and high-quality beans.
Despite the challenges posed by Coffee Leaf Rust (CLR), which first appeared in 2010 and peaked in 2012, Guatemala continues to thrive as a producer of award-winning coffees. In 2017, innovative processing methods pushed Guatemalan coffee to new heights, with record-breaking prices at the Cup of Excellence.
The country’s coffee quality continues to rise, thanks to the increasing number of smallholder farmers cultivating exceptional beans at high altitudes. Many of these farmers now work with cooperatives that provide crucial support, including financing and better prices for their coffee cherries. The result is a rich, vibrant coffee scene that consistently delivers outstanding beans to coffee lovers worldwide.
