MacKintosh Blend

MacKintosh is our celebration of the incredible coffees that we source from Brazil, Colombia and Ethiopia. It’s one of our most popular blends and offers a consistent and comforting, full-bodied cup, with cacao nibs, caramel and floral tasting notes.

Inspired by the Mackintosh family—prominent figures in the history of our neighborhood—this blend celebrates the rich heritage surrounding Rhostio Roastery.

Located just behind our Roastery is Mackintosh Place, named after Alfred Donald Mackintosh and his wife, Harriet Diana Arabella Mary Richards. Not only were they influential landowners in the Cardiff area, but they were also renowned for their generosity. From gifting to those in need during Christmas to organizing and fully supporting a local Boy Scout troop, their philanthropic efforts left a lasting impact. They also donated the social center and cricket pavilion to the village, now known as the Mackintosh Sports Club—home to the farmers market where we proudly offer our coffee beans alongside other independent businesses.
